Student Entry Requirements

To do this course a student must possess or do the following:

  • Completion of year 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years old or over
  • Must complete an LLN Assessment with a minimum result of Exit Level 3 or higher. Your assessment result will be kept on file for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Able to provide a Police check with no disclosure
  • Able to provide a Working with Children check
  • Able to complete a First Aid Course (HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting before the students commence the required work placement).
  • Able to complete 435 hours of work placement

Must have access to computers with internet access

First Aid Certificate (HTLAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting)

A prospective student may complete their HLTAID004 with another RTO provider or may opt to do it with H and A Training, RTO90871.

A prospective student has completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, working in the child care industry, or has completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Merage Global Institute Of Technology – 91798 has approved articulation arrangements with Southern Cross University (SCU), recognising the learning students complete within CHC50113 Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care for entry into the first or second year of a related SCU course, with maximum credit for prior learning.
